What foam is best for a rock and roll bed?

We recommend our Premium High Density Firm Foam (BFS40/200) for rock and roll beds. It's our firmest grade — supportive enough for sleeping, firm enough to use as seating during the day, and durable enough to handle the daily folding. Most builders go for 4" depth. Add a 2" memory foam topper if you want extra comfort on longer trips.

Can you cut foam to awkward or unusual shapes?

How thick should campervan mattress foam be?

Most campervan builders use 4"–6" for a fixed bed. If you have a rock and roll bed where foam depth matters for the fold, 4" is usually the sweet spot. We offer depths from 0.5" all the way up to 6" so you can get exactly what your build needs.
